Resident Janice reveals a lifestyle where every amenity is within easy reach at Bernborough Ascot.

Located in the sought-after area of Ascot, just on the fringes of the Brisbane CBD, Bernborough Ascot offers every amenity right at your doorstep.  

Unbeatable proximity to transportation and the CBD 

Meet Janice, who, along with her husband Don, has been calling Bernborough Ascot home since March 2021. Their decision to move to the community was not only sparked by the modern contemporary apartment living but also by the unbeatable proximity to transportation and the CBD. Janice shares, “We love how centrally located Bernborough Ascot is to the river, city and airport.”

For Janice, a journey by car has transformed into a leisurely stroll to the nearby bus stop, just five-minutes away. 25 minutes later, she finds herself immersed in the city, visiting her favourite performing arts centre, QPAC. 

“Sometimes I will walk to the nearby river to catch the ‘City Cat’ ferry, which provides an alternative scenic and easy journey into the city.” Janice shares.  

The convenience doesn't end there – with the airport just a 10-minute drive away, jetsetting to destinations like Bali to visit family becomes a stress free affair. 

Janice also appreciates the sense of community at Bernborough Ascot, noting, “Our neighbours are so friendly, always willing to pick us up from the airport because it’s so close, and even water our house plants.”  

Group outings foster a sense of community

The Bernborough Ascot residents also have access to a community bus. Janice shares, “Some of the residents arrange group outings; it’s great to have that option for a social get together.”

The local Racecourse village shopping centre is a stone's throw away from Bernborough Ascot, and Janice finds it convenient to do her supermarket shop there. It also offers a range of other shops and professional services.

Janice sums it up perfectly, stating, "Moving here was a great choice. When the time comes that we decide to sell the cars, it won't impact us given all the options available."
