Fashion extravaganza at Bernborough Ascot

The ladies at Bernborough Ascot thoroughly enjoyed an extravagant morning tea and spring fashion show held by U & I Designs at their retirement village.
All about fashion and fun
Bernborough Ascot community events are always exciting. Keeping in line with the arrival of the warmer weather,U & I Designs, a fashion brand that designs high-quality and stylish clothing specifically for the over 55s, showcased their spring collection. The stylish residents of the retirement community were not only spectators of the event but also participants, which made the event interactive and inclusive.
The master’s lounge at the village was the chosen setting for the fashionable affair. Nestled within the community, it provided an elegant backdrop for the runway and the gathering of friends and neighbours. The event was attended by 20 people, including the residents and the broader community.
The residents took centre stage as models and showcased the collection. The runway sparkled with elegant styles and graceful ensembles, each piece reflecting the residents’ unique personalities. “Yes, we were happy to participate. The five of us ladies had fun parading the lovely outfits from U & I,” expressed one of the residents. The attendees also had a chance to shop the collection after the show.

Celebrating community spirit
The event wasn’tjust about fashion but about coming together and having fun. The residents and their guests enjoyed a morning filled with laughter and conversation, strengthening the palpable community spirit in the village. The events at Bernborough Ascot are always about celebrating the community and forging strong relationships, making retirement living truly special.
All the ladies enjoyed seeing their fellow residents parading as they savoured their morning tea. Many mentioned they hope to have another fashion parade in Autumn.
