Luxury living at its best

Friday, 03 May 2024

Ardency Kennedy Place is one of a kind. It’s no wonder that within a short time since its opening it quickly transformed into a thriving community of residents who enjoy the benefits of the state-of-the-art amenities.

Whether it is the helpful concierge, the opulent interiors, the spacious and tastefully done apartments, or the residents’ lounge and the rooftop city views, everything about the premium residence exudes luxury living. We asked some of the residents what they like about living here and they shared their experience with us.

In good hands

One thing that stands out at Ardency Kennedy Place is the staff, resident Christine, explained. “I think this place is quite amazing. I think one of the things that makes it what it is, is the staff. They are very community-minded, they really care about the people that are staying here and they are very helpful. I find the concierge just fantastic.” Her friend and fellow resident Susanna agreed and added, “They are so helpful and so friendly. And that’s one thing I was very, very pleased with.”

A calendar of activities

But it is not only the staff that they are impressed with. Ardency Kennedy Place has a whole bunch of activities lined up for the residents. The resident wellbeing program consists of a variety of activities from meditation, walking groups to intervillage trivia and virtual reality travel experiences. A dedicated health and wellbeing coordinator plans activities for them to ensure they feel their best every day. The wellness centre offers physiotherapy, remedial massages and podiatry services while an onsite hair salon makes it easy for residents to stay looking their best without having to go far.

Susanna said, “I love all the activities that are available here as I love doing exercises. I am very health conscious, so I do the Pilates exercise class and even do meditation that I have never done before. Never done meditation in my life and I love it. I like doing the walking tours, qigong, hydrotherapy, naturopathy and enjoy the massage therapist and hairdresser that come.”

A home with a view

Located in the heart of Richmond, Ardency Kennedy Place boasts breathtaking views. David, another resident, talked about how he enjoys the remarkable location of his residence. “The first thing I found out was the residents’ lounge, dining area and the rooftop terrace with views across the city. I can come up in the morning after I make my breakfast by myself, bring my paper and sit in the sun if it is sunny and look at the whole of the city. From the city round to Mount Dandenong, a 180 degrees! That is quite spectacular! Just about everything here is similar to being in a resort. It’s complete, it’s luxurious, it’s very comfortable and it’s well thought-out.”

Flexibility and space

For Christine, the safety of her home while she's away was a deciding factor in moving here. “In my case I wanted to downsize and lock up and leave because the intention was to live overseas for about 4 months. So I told myself that I am going to have a look at this place and then I had a couple of looks and then I decided that this is it. I loved what facilities they were offering.”

As for David, he appreciates the possibilities his home allows him to have. “I like my apartment. It is large enough for me and it’s got 2 bedrooms. If I have someone to stay overnight I have the space to accommodate them and if I want to have a little pet I can have that too.”

He also thinks it is very important to look at other people’s experience and that’s why he feels the need to share his experience living here. “I am talking now because I am hopeful that I can suggest to other people that if they are thinking about these things, they should make their enquiry. It’s ticked all those boxes for me.”
