Tasty and zesty fish tacos recipe

Fish tacos are a healthy and delicious meal and perfect for a quick and easy dinner. Our tasty and zesty fish taco recipe is easy to make and packed with fresh ingredients for a meal that’s sure to be a hit. If you’re looking for a tasty dish to enjoy alfresco on a balmy summer night, it won’t get any better than this.

Zesty Fish Tacos Recipe

Serves: 2 to 4 

Prep time: 10 minutes 

Cook time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 2 to 8 pieces of white fish fillets - fresh or frozen (thaw before cooking)

  • 2 to 8 corn tortillas 

  • Mesclun lettuce

  • Red and yellow capsicum, cut into thin strips

  • Sour cream

  • Lime juice

  • Cumin

  • Garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper


Method

In a large bowl, combine mesclun lettuce, red and yellow capsicum, sour cream, lime juice and salt. 

Chill in the fridge.

In a separate bowl, mix garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper and season the fillets.

Over medium-high heat, cook 2 fillets for 4 minutes on each side.

Once all fillets are cooked, use a fork to break them into bite-sized pieces.

Heat the tortillas before assembling the tacos with the lettuce slaw.

Drizzle with some more sour cream and lime juice.
