Ardency ribbon cutting ribbon cutting ceremony event Ardency Kennedy Ardency Kennedy Place

17 October 2023

Ardency Kennedy Place, by Keyton, has reached its completion milestone. As the first three purchasers prepare to make their move to their apartments, they were granted an exclusive opportunity to explore the lavish amenities within their new abode at an internal event.

The luxurious and premium amenities that define Ardency Kennedy Place were unveiled to its first three residents and staff in a small ribbon-cutting, celebrating the completion of the build. Keyton CEO Nathan Cockerill welcomed the residents and congratulated staff and construction project team members on their significant achievement. The residence will be officially opened in early 2024.

Cockerill thanked builder partner, Hamilton Marino, for their impeccable craftmanship and expertise and recognised the Keyton team who guided the AKP project to completion, led by Head of Development Jason Fitzgerald and Development Manager Daniel Smith.

“Jason and Daniel’s measured decision marking and the passion of the whole project team has truly shone through in this project, delivering not only this exceptional building a precinct and community space of the future,” Cockerill said.

History meets luxury

Nestled in the heart of Richmond, Ardency Kennedy Place has its roots tracing back to the early 1900s. Once the home of the iconic Wertheim Piano factory to being acquired by the renowned canned-food giant Heinz in 1935 until Channel 9 Studios took over the factory. It became an entertainment hub, rolling out some of Australia’s most beloved shows, including ‘The Don Lane Show,’ 'Melbourne Tonight,’ ‘Hey Hey It’s Saturday,’ and ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”

The building was purchased by Keyton in 2017, and construction began in 2021. Honouring Graham Kennedy, the former ‘King of Australian Television’ and a true Australian entertainment legend, the precinct was named Ardency Kennedy Place.

New benchmark in premium amenities

Ardency Kennedy Place offers a sophisticated wellness centre, including yoga studio, consultation rooms for bookings with massage therapists and physiotherapists, and an exciting range of other available treatments which would set a new benchmark for premium residences. These include a day spa, salon, a state-of-the-art gym with the highest standard equipment and a heated pool.

The residence also boasts its own 30-seat cinema as well as rooftop terrace with breathtaking city views for social gatherings – the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a sundowner drink with friends, before heading inside to the exclusive Kennedy Club resident lounge with its own fireplace, billiards table, and a grand piano.

Offering unprecedented and exclusive lifestyle options, Ardency Kennedy Place is the place that exceeded everyone's expectations. Because elevated living means embracing the freedom to live as you choose and becoming a part of an extraordinary community.
