At Keyton, our goal is to deliver communities that maximise connectivity, liveability, safety, security and a sense of place and purpose. By leading with heart and prioritising social connection and community engagement, we believe that we can create thriving and sustainable communities that support the health and wellbeing of all its members, while also contributing to a healthier planet.

Employee Wellbeing & Safety

Safety and wellbeing

We lead with heart and prioritise the health, safety, happiness and wellbeing of our people, creating an environment where everyone feels valued, connected and supported to be at their best.

We aim to eliminate incidents and injuries across all of our villages and projects. We want our people to return home safely each day and spend time outside work doing the things they love with the people they care about.

Sustainability

Sustainability

We aim to create connected, resilient communities that operate in harmony with the environment, while also providing healthy indoor and outdoor environments for residents that inspire people to thrive.

We are committed to reducing our footprint and minimising our impact on the environment and implementing sustainable practices in all aspects of our operations through good governance.

Diversity and Inclusion

To Lead with Heart, we provide a culture and an environment that embraces and respects difference. One where people can bring their ‘whole self’ to work and feel safe, empowered, and motivated to be the best they can be. Diversity and Inclusion is a key enabler to realising this vision.

Reconciliation at Keyton

Keyton’s Reflect RAP artwork is called Community Spirit, created by Aboriginal artist, Kylie Hill.

Keyton is committed to advancing social justice and equity for the First Nations peoples. We recognise the importance of the Uluru Statement from the Heart as a powerful call for truth, justice, and self-determination. We support its vision for a more inclusive and equitable Australia.

Keyton’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) embodies this commitment, guiding us as we foster cultural respect and recognition within our organisation and the communities we serve.

Modern Slavery Statement

As one of the largest organisations in retirement living, Keyton aspires to lead the industry, taking a strong stance in condemning and addressing all instances of modern slavery.

We acknowledge and welcome our responsibility to collaborate and openly share our evaluation and mitigation strategies in our Statement to enable positive change within the retirement living sector.

Keyton is committed to embedding a strong culture of human rights and ethical governance principles, that guides and prioritises the actions we will take to mitigate all forms of modern slavery risk within our workforce and supply chain.

We seek to not only adhere to what’s mandatory within the Modern Slavery Act 2018, but strive to proactively adopt relevant measures suggested in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, by acknowledging our responsibility to conduct effective corporate due diligence.

Keyton’s 2024 Modern Slavery Statement provides the initial foundation of the framework upon which we will continue to build and grow our efforts.
