Celebrating 30 years of community and connection
There was good reason for residents and staff to come together to celebrate the retirement village's remarkable milestone — its 30th anniversary! The event had a great turnout of over 220 residents who gathered in the community hall to celebrate three decades of friendship, memories and community spirit.
The event took residents down memory lane, featuring a nostalgic presentation of photos, newsletters and artifacts contributed by residents, showcasing the village’s rich history.
One of the day’s most anticipated moments was the opening of a time capsule, sealed for 25 years. Inside were treasures from the past — a list of residents’ signatures, old photographs, an Aussie flag and even a bottle of champagne. To commemorate the great milestone, a tree was planted, symbolising the enduring connection between residents, staff and families — past, present and future.
